Re: ZXpand+ Super Serial card
Make sure your WiFi password Has no special characters. You have to use the characters available on your zx81 / TS1000. My AT&T home WiFi password was provided to me by AT&T years ago and not sure how to change it so unfortunately I’m not able to use the new card.

Re: ZX81X2.ROM - and the big bang
I have a couple of TS1000's, a ZXMore, a ZXPand and a ZXPand+. I primarily use the ZXMore with either ZXPand+ or occasionally ZXPand. Do I need to buy a EPROM burner, EPROMs? Is there any documentation of what to buy, how to do it, etc? I would love to use this fast ROM.

Re: ZXpand+ Serial - Mini Thermal Receipt Printer
After looking through the Memotech PDF, I believe the Serial TTL mini thermal printer would work with it as the memotech serial device appears to have TXD and RXD pins. You might have to run ground between the memotech serial device and the thermal printer as not to introduce any ground looping issu...

Re: ZXpand+ Serial - Mini Thermal Receipt Printer
I have not heard of this memotech serial rom. You would need a physical 5vdc Tx pin to connect to the Rx pin on the mini thermal printer. ZXpand+ has the hardware and software with the baud rate to support this.

ZXpand+ Serial - Mini Thermal Receipt Printer
I finally made some time today to figure out (at least initially) how to connect an Adafruit TTL Serial Mini Thermal Printer https://www.adafruit.com/product/600?gclid=Cj0KCQiAv8PyBRDMARIsAFo4wK3NXvBqKQLJ1FIbV_qOXNiLkfO81Q_fjoS3XmmsVAmOkMWaBWZeSScaAkR7EALw_wcB https://www.adafruit.com/product/597?gc...

Re: ZXpand+ Super Serial card
Glad I got the email about this. I ordered one and with shipping it was under $18 total to the USA via Paypal.

Re: How to perform a Timex Sinclair 1000 internal memory upgrade?
Before you go through the trouble of updating your TS1000 to 32KB of ram, you might want to consider trying to purchase if available, a ZXPand+ which already has the 32KB ram AND has a SD card support for storing your *.P program files (no more tape drive). Just my 2 cents!

Re: Zeddynet wanted
I called UPS and they said all of the internal carriers would start at $150 USD so I looked at the US Postal Service and they are better in cost but still very high I think. It looks like it would cost a package of less than 2 lbs of approximately 4” x 4” x 4” somewhere between $75 to $100 USD in in...

Re: Zeddynet wanted
Yann, I hope you don’t need it soon. Tomorrow I’m flying to New Mexico for business for 3 weeks in the desert. Its brand new as I used it only a couple of times but it’s been a few years. I can’t remember what I paid for it nor what it would cost to ship it to France by the US postal service. Tell m...
