Re: Creating Wilf Rigter's ZXKBD v3
5V and GND only. For the rest: the thinner the better. I always choose minimum allowed (by my PCB manufacturer) thickness for all lines except power. GND normally is "the rest of the PCB" on top and bottom side as it can't be thick enough. power supply (12V, 5V, 3.3V etc) as thick as the design all...

I'm n00b with electronics. Do you mean all lines, or e.g. 5V and GND?Paul wrote:I would like to say that all power lines should be much thicker.

Re: Creating Wilf Rigter's ZXKBD v3
Now the PCB design is complete. The board (10 cm x 5 cm) has been ordered in China. It looks quite confusing but this is my first board, and all connections have been made with autoroute. Now I need to order the ics, sockets, connectors, resistors, diodes and capacitor. Keyboard will be connected wi...

Re: Creating Wilf Rigter's ZXKBD v3
On the keyboard it would be nice to have keys for cursor that enables both [Shift] combined with [5], [6], [7] and [8]. As the keys have 4 pins one set can be connected to [Shift] and the other to e.g. [5]. http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_158030_4.jpg Do I need a component that delays e.g. [5...

Re: Creating Wilf Rigter's ZXKBD v3
Is that a component, or just a schematic way to show multiple resistors connected?XorA wrote:Almost certainly Resistor Network!

Creating Wilf Rigter's ZXKBD v3
Hi :) I found Wilf Rigter's project to build an external connected keyboard like the version from Memotech. I've found this schematic http://www.user.dccnet.com/wrigter/index_files/ZXKBDv3_files/image003.gif on this page: http://www.user.dccnet.com/wrigter/index_files/ZXKBDv3.htm Unfortunately there...

Re: NEW (PAPER) MAGAZINE ABOUT ZX-81 (free :) )
I've read ZX91 from http://zx81.de/andre/.
In the first issue it's stated that the magazine is monthly and will last for at least a year.
How come there's only 5 issues?
Anyone know what happend?
Great read!

Program that adds statements to a BASIC program
Hi :) I would like to modify a BASIC program via BASIC (or ML). It’s easy to read from the BASIC program, as that starts at address PROGRAM 16509/407D. It should also be relatively simple to modify the program, as long as it’s modifying from one char to another. The problem arises when you want to i...
