Harlequin 128K 2D not showing any video signal
Hello, I built the 48K version a few years ago and it worked like a charm. Now it was time to build the 128K version but strange enough I get no video through the composite output. (I have no RGB cable to test). I checked the voltage of the Z80 and it looks fine (5v) but it seems more related to the...

Re: ZX Spectrum Harlequin kit (48K). How to add AY-3-8912 ?
thanks superfo!
I was looking at the pdf provide and I have a few questions:
1 - is that Ok if we don't include the Kempson part of the circuit? (U5 + U6)
2 - How we hook up the AUDIO out of the AY to the harlequin original speaker or/and original EAR?
thanks!

ZX Spectrum Harlequin kit (48K). How to add AY-3-8912 ?
Hello,
Can I use the following schematic (attachment) that was taken from the 128K ZX Spectrum Harlequin and adapt on the 48K version?Or do I need to pay attention to anything in special?
Thanks!

zx harlequin + Interface 1bis = not working?
hello, Did anyone had luck on getting these two to work together? I just got my Interface 1bis, but I'm wondering if the one I got is faulty or there is some incompatibility between harlequin and this interface. The 1bis turns ON but then when I run 'RUN' it does not show the menu that is suppose to...

Re: Harlequin video modifications
thanks PokeMon, I will probably try one of your mods.
My goal is to move away from s-video in favor to HDMI, so I will try your RGB mode and then use a converter from RGB (component) to HDMI.
Hopefully it will work.

Re: Harlequin video modifications
Hello all, I know that this thread is been quiet old but I would like to ask a few questions. 1 - Pokemon says: "The Harlequin uses the AD724R circuit to create a composite video signal and I wonder why the signals Chroma und Luma are not used as it offers a S-Video (Y/C video) output for free which...

Re: ZX Spectrum Harlequin rev. G problem
One thing I noticed is I'm not getting any sound from the tiny speaker. I swapped the tiny and fragile speaker that came with the kit and installed one from an original ZX spectrum board but I still don't get any sound. I tested the speaker and it is in good working order. Does anyone knows the purp...
