Re: ZX80 Repair.
Hi, everyon thanks for the advice. I'm more than happy with Woking on PCB's such as this as I'm Head of R&D for the UK's last welding power source manufacturer. But that doesn't mean to say I know everything and having seen various versions of ROM's used in these machines it's best to ask the expert...

Re: ZX80 Repair.
Hi guys. Cheers for the help. Please see the picture. I have no background on this machine, other than the solder looks professional rather than kit built. TBH the wire could have been jammed in there for 'reasons'?? There appear to be no other roach or bodge wires anywhere on the PCB or on the ROM....

Re: ZX80 Repair.
Hi thanks for the replys.
I have taken a couple of pictures already. But I'm assuming I have to use a photo hosting site to upload. Can anyone suggest a free one as I'm loathed to pay a fee for something I will only use on the odd occasion.
Cheers
Andy

ZX80 Repair.
Hi all, Looking for some advice. I bought a ZX80 about 5 years ago of Ebay. Only things i could see that we're obviously wrong was IC6 (74LS157) was cracked and I replaced this quite early on. Since then the computer has been sitting in my 'to-do' pile. Today I pulled it out and replaced the resonat...

Re: Filesixty Keyboard
I remember this.
I had one fitted just before I got my Memotech Keyboard.
If I can ever find the original case for my ZX81, (for some unknown reason I took the case off ???) it should still be attached.
