zx spectrum omni

I've been watching on youtube some videos of the zx spectrum omni, it looks pretty interesting and a nice alternative to the zx spectrum next, or getting hold of an original speccy from ebay (and repairing\modding it). It does look it's still somewhat a work in progress. What do people think of it? ...

I had seen the ZX1541. I guess I would need to emulate the disk drive as getting hold of a 1541 in Greece would not be straight forward.

ZX-wespi I guess it runs at the same speed as tape.

I’ve seen it, and it’s already passed the amount I’m prepared to pay.

BTW, is there an alternative to the zxpand for storage, other than tapes?

Although I'm saying "Hello from Greece", I'm British from East Anglia, and have been living and working in Greece from almost 25 years. I still have my first computer, the ZX81, and last time I plugged it in it still worked, although it had a very dark screen. I since learned this is a "back porch" ...
