Work - yes. Capable of WRX high res graphics... maybe not. However, not that many games use it, so you should be good to go.

If there are some that are better than others... I'll have to leave for those more experienced to advise.

The problem with the wobble would probably exist with any RAM pack that used the same method to hook up to the ZX81, I believe. You might want to use a 1K Hi-res game to see if the ULA is capable of WRX high res before you do the RAM upgrade. Umm... I don't know. It's somewhere in the wire wool for cleaning the iron. Too small. I think I've got another of that type so I'll check when I can dig it out.
