Re: If you like your submarine simulations fast, arcadey,...

Great! But the next version should also have a network interface (ZeddyNet), that someone else in the world could control the destroyers  We had a discussion about such a network game some months ago in Tom's forum: http://forum.tlienhard.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2401&p=3102...

Re: BMP 2 UDG for ZXPand with UDG Board

they are upside down!? That has always been the case, I don't know why, see Wilf Rigter's article at http://www.user.dccnet.com/wrigter/index_files/BMP2P.htm Regards; Greg No, not always, but usually  There is a bit in the header, which indicates, whether it is up or down. I once wrote a p...

Re: Slower than Slow. I mean 25 hertz slow;-)

I did suspect slowdown could affect the display, as that is what "slow" does. The ula interaction with the clock ... I did not know of . :o But someone did say the ula runs the video framing. SO if that is going on, it must be "using the clock" to keep it all in sync. Both the Z80 AND the UL...

Re: Campus LIsP (32K)

Yes, nowadays there are a lot of solutions, to fast-load a program or data anywhere into ram (Zxpand, USB-drivers, Mefisdos, ZeddyNet). Thus the workflow I had in mind would be: - Load and run ZEDIT and create a Lisp source code(results in ASCII text at 32K). If necessary, save the text (Lisp source...

Re: Campus LIsP (32K)

Hi Stefano to keep it portable: could you just add an additional option (or a command) to read input from an ASCII string somewehre in memory (e. g. from 8192 of a 56K Zeddy)? Then I could write a small program to - copy a text (created by ZEDIT) from 32K to 8K and replace ^Z by a \0 (to create a we...

Re: Campus LIsP (32K)

Editing a function is not possible, you need to re-enter it and crossing fingers you should be able to issue the garbage collector with (gc) to wipe the old one. Hm, then it would be nice to have the souce code of the function somewhere in RAM (where it could be edited), and then could be imported ...

Re: Campus LIsP (32K)

Hi Stefano
is it possible to edit a function which has been typed in incorrectly?

Does the 48 K version have only data above 48K? On most zeddies (except ZxMore) running machine code above 48K is not possible (above 32K only after M1NOT modification).

Re: TAZMANIAC

If memory (ZXPand) is inside the case: don't forget to allow disabling that internal memory from outside (via signal /RAMCS). Otherwise it would not be possible to add external ram, e.g. the Chroma81 interface ...
