I've refactored the clock face programme in the ZX81 manual to include a digital display, as below.
I've made it for the new ZX81x2 ROM. I'll refactor later.
Enjoy,
Shaun.

Re: 50 games with hires in 1K
Hi,
Just a thought, with shared sub-routines and such, would it be possible to fit all 50 games into a 48K expanded Zeddy somehow?
Regards,
Shaun.

Re: BASIC drawing proggy
hey all, I've written a very simple drawing proggy to use on my unexpanded zeddy and I'm pretty happy with it. ***edit*** there is now an 'ascii' version with save and print options, too. You litterally move the pointer around the screen with the four keys, then the T key will raise or lower the pe...

At least you get a chance at another extra life then?JohnsBargs wrote: ↑Sun Oct 21, 2018 9:54 pm Wee bug report, btw - if you get over 10,000 the score readout can't cope and clocks back to 0.
I only get one extra life at 2000 points and have not made the score 'wrap around' yet, so good work

Re: gamesTM and the Sinclair ZX81
Thanks for the private message gammaray regarding feedback.
I've just realised that I wrote this article in 2005, not the 2007 time stamp on the pen drive.

Shaun.

Re: gamesTM and the Sinclair ZX81
Additional information - according to the invoices that I found, I wrote for gamesTM issues 32, 34, 35 and 36 so the Zeddy article will be in one of them.
Thanks,
Shaun.

Re: gamesTM and the Sinclair ZX81
Unfortunately the original images submitted with the article are not included on the pen drive, but here's the WordPad document. Sorry in advance for any technical mistakes or mis-information. As I recall, I only had ~2 weeks to write and submit it (although it's quite a short piece). Regards, Shaun.

gamesTM and the Sinclair ZX81
Way back in 2007, I wrote an article for a UK published magazine called gamesTM about the Sinclair ZX81. Does anyone have a copy of the "Zeddy" issue? I ask as I've found an old pen drive that has the original article on before I submitted it to Darran Jones at (I think it was at the time) Paragon P...
