That's a great upgrade! Seeing this spurred me to dust down my ZXpand, replace the 3.0 ROM with a newly burned 6.6 and upgrade the fw from 1.1 to 2.2. Wow, I love the autoboot and ZX command! Just wondering with the new design, did you consider 'doing a pi' and moving from SD to micro SD? Perhaps it...

Do You have, by a chance, any photos? I did try to get one of the ZX81 but it didn't come out too well (just using a camera phone). However, there are a load of walkarounds on YouTube, just search for "Play Expo 2012". At least one I was looking at last week showed the ZX81 briefly as the photograh...

Well, I went along and after spending a lot of time around the arcade machines (Manic Miner ported to PacMan hardware was quite something!) I went in search of the 8-bits. There were a good few Speccys on display, 4 linked via network cards but they were running Chuckie Egg rather than the multiplay...

I know that there will be at least 1 zx81 there (mine).
