Re: Fast Scrolly v2.0.3
Hi Stefano (and other z88dk people), I've finally got around to updating my version of z88dk to the latest stable version (v1.10) downloaded from Source Forge, copying and pasting your code into NotePad++ and running it, I had errors reported on the following: zx_topleft(); zx_setcursorpos(21,0); //...

Re: Game of Life.
Hi Andy,
My maths are only just about good enough to calculate off-sets in a flat array as if it's a 2D array, never mind anything else! Thanks for the link though as it looks interesting

Shaun.

Game of Life.
I've done a quick and dirty Game Of Life thingy currently available in the 'new releases' thread in the 'Games' sub-forum. It's quite slow, but I wrote it to work out re-sizable flat arrays to calculate them as 2D arrays (just in case I want to do matrix multiplication or something). I've slightly i...

Re: Jim Bagley's ZX81 Racing
Hi Jim, Once you've fixed the bugs, perhaps do a sequel of sorts in which you get cash to spend on upgrading your car for each achievement. For instance, each track completed in under 2 minutes will get you £200, complete all tracks in under 1m30s, you get £500, complete 10 laps on survival and get ...

Re: Jim Bagley's ZX81 Racing
I've spotted another bug (at least, this happens on Spud81) - sometimes, when playing on the Speed Race mode, the lap counter occasionally counts one back at random moments. So, my time might be consistently under 1:30 ;-) Edit: Seems to happen when you hit the track border once too often, ie, when ...
