Re: Yet another Star Trek
Hi XavSnap, Wow dude, you've been busy! I can't even keep up. I yanked a copy of MSVBVM50.dll from a 3rd party website in order to run your ZxToken utility. Not getting usable results so far, but I've been jammed up for time lately and not had a fair crack at it. Getting text that seems to have no l...

Re: Yet another Star Trek
Thanks XavSnap. I'll play around with that next time I have my XP machine out. (P2TXT.EXE is an old 16-bit application.)

Re: Yet another Star Trek
I blew it. The handful of folks who downloaded Star Trek should download the correction. I originally neglected to account for the lack of a border around the view-screen, which seems to foul up some logic and causes errant torpedoes or navigation to crash the program. Not Bug-Byte's fault--mine. It...

Yet another Star Trek
I got bored.
Converted BUG-BYTE's flavor of ZX81 Star Trek, for use in the Lambda. "Conversion" consists only re-inversing the view-screen so space is black again, and removing the punctuation that doesn't translate well to the Lambda character set. Nothing exciting.

Re: Fastload by International Publishing & Software - Instructions?
Hmm. Doesn't seem to be ROM related, but I can't get the monitor to load a program successfully, in either EightyOne or the hardware. I'm thinking "user error", but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
The finished 3D Monster Maze image Fastloads up well in both environments though.

Re: Fastload by International Publishing & Software - Instructions?
Thanks Fruitcake. I appreciate the time you spent looking into this. Your point form summary matches my interpretation of the "line 200" instructions. But my experience was that your 2nd-to-last point, "Once loaded, I think it provides an option to save out at your preferred speed", just doesn't mat...
