I like many of you had a ZX81 years ago. I purchased mine as a kit and want to get back into the fun again. I went out to Zebra Systems but their systems are $240 for the kit which maybe is ok but a bit to pricey for an old interest. Is ebay the only other place to buy a working system? Many years later I bought a couple on ebay and had bad results with broken systems from 2 and 1 good one. Unfortunately, it was lost in a move or thrown out at some point. I remember adding in 32K SRAM in replacement of the 1K/2K chips with some hacks I found as well as the transistor/resistor video circuit being built.
Today I saw the ZXtender: http://www.sellmyretro.com/offer/detail ... rface-2435 and I love it!
Where can I find the "latest" stuff as a system so that Im not missing out on what's new.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: New User - Where to get stuff?
Your best bet is sellmyretro.com for the latest hardware.
Most software is now available for download - plenty listed on these forums.
Otherwise, you can always ask on here for anything specific you need.
ebay is a last resort as very few ZX81s etc on there have been tested since the 80s!
