Cyber Attacks

Post by RWAP » Mon May 15, 2017 3:45 pm

With the recent cyber attacks wrecking havoc across the world, I have seen some joke articles about the NHS needing to upgrade their systems from ZX Spectrums to Commodore 64s...

I wonder if the National Grid is thinking of getting its ZX81s out of mothballs to run the power stations?

I just hope Severn Trent don't want that ZX80 back that I bought some years ago from them.......

My ZX81 web server is now online for nearly 10 years. Sinclair delivered during that time neither software upgrades nor service packs :o

It does not have a firewall. But since it uses a MEFISDOS filesystem (not SMB), no virus has been installed (the B/W monitor anyway cannot show red virus screens)
