ColdSnap Audio

Possibly you've heard of the ZXodus][Engine. It's a game engine for a different machine. However, it includes a general purpose Z80/AY audio engine. I've recently updated it and it now supports the ZX81/TS1000/TS1500 with ACE, Fuller, Zon-X, and ZXpand-AY interfaces. It plays standard ProTracker 3.6 tunes (as exported by Vortex Tracker II) but with the 100 byte headers cur off (.p3x files). I'm not even sure what the ACE box is as I just found a reference to the ports it uses. Also I haven't added the ZXM Sound Box yet ... but I will. If anyone is interested in using it, please get in touch. It uses accurate pre-generated note tables and is considerably smaller than the port of the Vortex player.

Now with added support for ZXM Sound Box on ZX81 and Spectrum. Well that's all the combinations of Z80/AY that I'm aware of covered. But does anyone know what frequency the AY in the ZXM box is clocked at? It looks from the manual to be 1MHz but that's just a guess.
