Accessibility - ZEsarUX emulator for blind people

Post by chernandezba »

Hi

I have been doing changes to my ZEsarUX emulator, specially in the stdout (text only) driver. Now it can run a script or external program to send the text the emulator shows on console. With that, we can send the text to a speech synthesis program to help blind people to use it. It is intended to use it on Text Adventures
I have recorded a video with the execution of the Spectrum game The Hobbit and a filter text-to-speech, I hope you like it

Raise the volume ;)

As always, it is a beta feature, only found on the emulator snapshot version, but it will be released on the next stable 2.1 version (very soon;) )

Cheers
Cesar
