As there was no answer to my question in the other thread:
Does anyone know what happened to Revival Studios ?
I think no more published games this year and latest news on the website have been in january 2014 ?

What happened to ... Revival Studios ?
Re: What happened to ... Revival Studios ?
Revival Studios are back - no new ZX81 software, but they have revamped their website and there are a few older ZX81 titles on there which I had not heard of before:

Re: What happened to ... Revival Studios ?
I have been speaking with Martijn - apparently there are a few more ZX81 games being planned
Both boxing champ and rush were released towards the end of 2013 at Retro Event 2013 in the Netherlands and are both excellent titles
Boxing Champ has you fighting Acorn employees and is surprisingly deep and Rush has really nice multi-layer parallax scrolling and looks very nice in motion.
The main issue is over tape reproduction - whereas for the Vic-20 he says he has no problems - just record once and it works, for some odd reason, for the ZX81, he often finds that the recording does not work and he has to re-record the tape several times to get a working copy.
Does anyone know a better way of doing this? I don't know what method he is using - surely once one recording is made, a tape to tape recorder would suffice (if he has one!)
