After reading Charlie's dissertation on the "io rw pic bus...", I no longer have the delusion that this stuff is direct or easy given the design of the z.

I may have to stick to making wooden zeddy cases. :cry:

Glad to hear that you have managed to get the faster loading... as for a firmware name, maybe this one should be called 'T-Rex' - after all, the boards have had 'T-Rex is waiting" for quite a while... :D

If you need a tester for new FW I have some code that would love to be (ab)used.

If only there was a way of getting it onto the zxpand without the attendant swapping of sd cards... hmmm.

This is on ZXpand+ but the serial port on ZXpand can be used if you can solder 3 wires TX,RX & gnd.
