I have the pleasure to present you my new zx80/zx81 clon.

It is a my design, starting from the great work of Grant Searle.
Added to the original one:
- Modes zx80/zx81.
- Easy to change keyboard overlays (zx80/zx81)
- Black porch generation (thanks to jose_leandro)
- reset button, and switch.
- 3D case similar to the original one (thanks to alvaroalea)

Special thanks to Grant Searle for his fantastic work, and to José Leandro because he did help me to get it works.

Bellow you can find some pictures of it.

Lets see a little video (sorry it is in spanish)

I am an IT engineer, but I am not an electronics expert. I've turned computer hardware design into my hobby 4 years ago.
My dream was to build my own computer, and with this design I got it.

Many thanks to Grant Searle. I have taken his great work as starting point and I have did little modifications to get my schema, and then I have changed the board distribution to make room for my changes.

The black porch generation schema is from Jose Leandro. He helps me to improve the final routing of the board.

The case is designed and 3d printed by alvaroalea, I think it have did a very good job. It is the most similar to the original one that we could do.
Due to it we don't want to add holes not present in the original case, and the consecuence is the ON/OFF switch, reset button, and ZX80/ZX81 selector are not accesibles from outside if you use the case.
To solve this problem I have designed a little board to connect it to the expansion board, and then add externally this elements. It is only a protoboard but I'll plan to make it in a final board.

I'm making a little batch of 20 units in a spanish forum called vaderetro. If somebody is interested it is possible to get some units yet.
