Hi Lardo would a internal laptop fan like this one be any better.

It would blow out of the side of the case also maybe not too tall for the ZX case.

Definitely interesting thanks. Pity there are no sizes to be found. I will see if I can find the spec of the OEM fan and see how big it is.

A couple of things to keep in mind with these inexpensive sideways fans:
  • They often use sleeve bearings rather than the better ball bearing type,
  • They are normally much less efficient at moving air compared to the normal PC fan type,
  • Often they are noisier than the normal PC fan type.
But still may well be worthwhile getting one (for that price) to see how well it performs.
