ZX81 and programmable calc for sale...ZX80 soon!

Post by bassplayer »

I've decided to put my small collection on eBay.

ZX81 stuff :

Sinclair Programmable Calculator :

I also have a working ZX80 with original packaging and rare WHITE PSU which will go on sale just before Christmas.

I ought to just plug the alternative to ebay - SellMyRetro.com - only 2.5% final value fee, and no fee for setting a reserve price - compare that to ebay's 10% final value fee and listing fees.

Most people on these forums seem to buy and sell on sellmyretro too!

You would also get more interest if the items were not collection only!

Just a quick question on the ZX81 listing - did you realise you have included a ZX80 programming manual in that picture?

Thanks Rich. To be honest I didn't realise it was a ZX80 booklet. Oh well, a bit late now. Maybe it will pump up the price on the ZX81 bits.

Decided to pull the plug (so to speak) on the eBay auction. I'm still open to offers but I'm now thinking it best to hang onto the stuff for now. Maybe I'll have time to bring the ZX81's back to life in the future. Anyone recommend any good repair/diagnostic guides on the web?
