They look nice Lardo but the Fuller is more hardy and has a more satisfying feel to the keys when in use, also over the years I've had to replace a few switches on the M'tech which have feeble thin sliding copper strips as their contact mech' and quick wear key top legends, the Fuller although shoddy looking is still going strong.Lardo Boffin wrote: ↑Fri Jul 07, 2017 1:17 pm That is a good question. TS 1000 bought in 1982 and brought back to life by Sir Ian
Re: Memotech Keyboard
I was looking for one for ages and finally found one. The white keys are a bit yellowed, but everything works just nicely. I have to say, the Memotech is THE keyboard for the ZX81.
Re: Memotech Keyboard
White key one just like mine, but if you give it some stick and not use it once a year like most people the legends come off faster than a hookers drawers and the crappy thin sliding switch contacts likewise (had mine 30 years along with other external keyboards so know the difference).
Memotech look the part but sorry have to disagree that they are the best, Fuller every time for me , they are shoddily built but the key action is solid and unlike the Memotech the contacts are not made out of cheese.
