With the recent cyber attacks wrecking havoc across the world, I have seen some joke articles about the NHS needing to upgrade their systems from ZX Spectrums to Commodore 64s...
I wonder if the National Grid is thinking of getting its ZX81s out of mothballs to run the power stations?
I just hope Severn Trent don't want that ZX80 back that I bought some years ago from them.......

My ZX81 web server is now online for nearly 10 years. Sinclair delivered during that time neither software upgrades nor service packs
It does not have a firewall. But since it uses a MEFISDOS filesystem (not SMB), no virus has been installed (the B/W monitor anyway cannot show red virus screens)

amazingly Sinclair people is again on new Spectrum models, but yeah.. they left the zx81 as it was, no new hw nor patches.. rom was fixed in 1981 and is still "perfect"
