Hello from Edmonton
Hi everybody,
My first home computer was a ZX81 and I spend hours and hours in the 80's programming and playing with this toy, the tape player, the unstable Memopak 32K and the brilliant ZX81's manual that taught me programming. For me it was something like brought by the extraterrestrials. I realize now that it changed my life forever. Recently I found accidentally online somebody selling for just few dollars a TS1000 with 16K expansion, a printer and some books. I got it!!, what a flashback!!!. Since I like electronics and I've got some tools, I decided to make some modifications...
Happy to found this forum. Lot of useful information.
Cheers!
Rufo.
PD: Sorry for any BUG in my English. I'm originally from Venezuela and my brain's firmware is in Spanish.

Hi Lardo. So far I'm fixing the keyboard. It looks in good shape but the flat ribbon cable is broken. I think I found a different approach to fix this. I'll post it later. Also working on internal 32K SRAM and the composite video mod. Thanks.Lardo Boffin wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2017 10:30 pm Hello Rufo and welcome!

Working on it, but still raw. Looking for the best component location. I want to make a removable daughter board.Lardo Boffin wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2017 12:29 am I'd be interested to see a 32k RAM mod - I've only got as far as 16k so far.
