Fuller FD42 Keyboard
Re: Fuller FD42 Keyboard
that fuller with the extension, and, yes, rampack is mine if you'd like the dimensions of the extender board, give me a few days to dig it out (part of my 'round to it' pile) and measure things
Re: Fuller FD42 Keyboard
I've started to vector trace the extension PCB photo now in Illustrator. I'm not able to see the connector under the 16K expansion that's plugged into it in the photo but once I have the accurate measurements I can try a first test print out to see how well everything lines up inside the case.
Re: Fuller FD42 Keyboard
I'm eventually getting back onto the Fuller FD42 build. I was considering making the missing extension board with some large stripboard sections cut to the correct sizes and epoxied together. I don't have the correct dimensions of the original board however. I have an old defunkt interface that I can take the connector for the connection to Zeddy board but I'm unsure how to progress with the two edge connectors, one is vertically mounted for the internal interface and the other one is the horizontal edge connector for the back of the Fuller case. Is there somewhere I can source a suitable edge connector?
Re: Fuller FD42 Keyboard
@martin: he is searching for the opposite end, the PCB that goes into those connectors you linked.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.
Re: Fuller FD42 Keyboard
That’s just making a pcb and order it from Oshpark or China.

Re: Fuller FD42 Keyboard
If you ask PokeMon, he may be able to supply just the PCB from his extender (see here or search these forums). PokeMon is a member here.
I don't know how suitable it would be for the purpose that you want it for...
