the dreaded Brexit word!
Thanks to the Brexit everyone knows that Germany isn't the only country unable to finish larger projects like Berlins new airfield or Stuttgarts new train station

Re: ZX81 heat sinks

A good question indeed. I did notice someone on the Jupiter Ace rebuild thread using a Speccy heatsink so maybe for projects like that or other homebrew? To be honest I don’t want to just recycle them - it seems such a waste. E-Mail sent ;) they are going to find a second life in Jupiter's after mo...

Re: TS1500 50Hz which resistor

Inside the "Modulator" case there is a diode in the left front corner. The left pin of which is either 5V or 0V depending on channel selection. I guess I don't need 60hz. Maybe I make an internal ROM with bigbang and sponzy. Black and white spectrum in a TS1500 case - crazy enough to get it done. :m...

Re: TS1500 50Hz which resistor

Hi Andy, I guess it would be possible internally as well?
Which bytes have to be changed?
Do you know how the channel 2/3 selection works? Maybe this could be (ab)used for ROM switching?

TS1500 50Hz which resistor

Hello, after years of owning a TS1500 and not daring to open it because it's in perfect condition I was able to buy a broken TS1500 in near mint condition. This had to be opened in order to be repaired. I was lucky, it was just a broken Z80 that was socketed and a brittle membrane. I made a composit...

Re: Jupiter ACE (again)

I'm on my way to Mahlerts. There is our annual ZX-TEAM meeting this weekend. As soon as I have setup my table I will take a photo and post it here. In case there would really be no color software, let's write some!

Re: Jupiter ACE (again)

Mine look quite similar. Thanks a lot for your help. Mine also has an acrylic case.
What is still missing is the Jupiter color card and the Jupiter SD interface ;)
Kind regards Paul
