Re: New release of EightyOne available
Thank you Paul. Much appreciated 8-) Although you are releasing updates faster than I can find time to try them out! Mark I'm aiming to let things stabilise now for a while and let everyone get up to date. It will also give folk a chance to report any new bugs that have crept in due to the re...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Thanks for all of the updates to the debugger in EightyOne. This helps a lot with writing code. I have a (possibly foolish) question. I'm using memory view to see what changes when I do something at the ZX80 prompt. The viewer colours Red any memory cell that has changed, so you can easily spot tha...

Re: ZX Printer Output
Hi, The ZX81 emulator's 'ZX Printer' output is a BMP image. Is there any chance that output can be Standard ASCII, instead of an image? THX! Although this sounds like it should be simple, there are a number of difficulties. EightyOne could intercept the bytes in the ZX Printer Buffer as they are ab...

Re: Requests for EightyOne
Hi Paul
I've sneaked in a change for this at the last minute before releasing v1.39. Hopefully it does what you need.

Re: New release of EightyOne available
I've just released version 1.39 of EightyOne. This version adds support for the QS Hi-Res board, along with example programs for it. It also includes documentation on the various hardware interfaces supported by the emulator. See the release history file (now accessible via the Help menu) for full d...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
I would need to set up a comparable configuration to see if I can reproduce the issue. I've noted it for a future release.

Re: New release of EightyOne available
When you say "goes wrong", in what way does it go wrong? I just tried loading a 2K block to address 50000 and it seemed to work fine. Could you provide the step-by-step instructions of the problem that I can follow to reproduce the issue you are seeing.

Re: New release of EightyOne available
With "v1.37", a connected USB device (Simple 8-bit Data storage) will not be activated via the selection. But this procedure works with "V0.43b" or "V0.52". I found a change from v0.52 to v1.0 which I think was the cause, and it now seems to work. I have not exhausted tested the drive functionality...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Thanks. I have followed your steps with v0.52, v1.0 and v1.0a and it seems the functionality was broken way back in v1.0 (10th March 2008!)...
