Re: Looking for a book

Thanks for all the replies and references. Looking at the contents of the Byteing Deeper book I can tell that wasn't the book I was thinking about. I believe the cover had only the title with no graphics. I had it for an Assembly Coding SIG I was in in 1985 when I was in the Capitol Area Timex Sincl...

Looking for a book

Back in the 1980's I was really into Z80 programming on the ZX81. I had a book that was my go to reference for programming but sadly over the years it got lost and I have forgotten the title. At first I thought it may be Toni Baker's Mastering Machine Code on Your ZX81 but after firing up the old br...

Re: Backing up Wilf Rigter's Website

I went through my backup with Kompozer and replaced the ? with space and it looked good in Echo and Firefox on my Linux and Windows 10. I forgot the easy solution was to change utf8 to western  . RetroTechie's backup is compl...

The above post has the pictures for the ZX97Lite missing so the link has been removed. The corrected files are at https://www.dropbox.com/s/tsohz3gxrajc1 ... 2.zip?dl=0

Re: Backing up Wilf Rigter's Website

I just checked the Wayback Machine and looked at the saved site in January 2006 and noticed the links is broken there too. That probably means those links were never there.

Backing up Wilf Rigter's Website

I was making my own copy of Wilf's website http://www.user.dccnet.com/wrigter/ and I noticed some broken links such as the picture of the schematic for the Son of Zon. Does anyone have a backup of the website or where the missing files are? Thanks.

Re: New hardware I/O board using Parallax Propeller

Bean, It's great to see a fellow Propeller user here. I am extremely interested in your project. I just started working on a copy of Andy Rea's FPGA ZX-81 on a DE0-Nano using a Propeller Professional Development Board (PPDB) Version 1.0. For those that do not know of the PPDB you can find info at ht...

Re: New game - BiggOil

It is in the last page of the New ZX81 games post in the Games category viewtopic.php?f=4&t=552&start=110. I haven't tried it but when I get less busy with life I'll give it a try. :)
