Re: ZXblast - ZX81 memory extension plus USB

Indeed looking good.

Out of interest what are you using to talk to the USB, I guess you have something on the bottom of the board?

Cheers,

LOLPRICE

Ok Yes this is an early ZX81, but it's pretty standard apart from the early buggy ROM.

Still that doesn't justify the £1499 asking price.

Re: TS1500 Composite mod.

Cheers for the replies...... I have tried fitting a 100uf cap in series with the output from the transistor as suggested on this : http://www.sinclairzxworld.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=654&hilit=TS1500 thread. That has helped somewhat, still not perfect but a definite improvement, I may try adjusting t...

TS1500 Composite mod.

Hi all, I've just composite modded my (new) TS1500, using the info provided here : http://www.zx81stuff.org.uk/zx81/ts1500_video.html The mod works, however the picture is very bright and there does not seem to be much contrast between the black and the white in the picture. Any idea what the proble...

Re: ZxList 6, P file to BASIC conversion app

The only way you're going to get that running under Windows 7/8 is probably using a virtual machine to run Windows XP. The point I was trying to make, is that the original utility which is still being worked on by it's author, is compiled as a **16 bit** windows app, this makes absolutely no sense ...

Re: ZxList 6, P file to BASIC conversion app

Installing the VBX files won't help you if it is 64 bit windows, whatever the flavor.

When running (on windows 2008 64bit) I get the following :
Screenshot of ZXlist failing to run
Screenshot of ZXlist failing to run

Just checked on a Windows 7 64 bit and get the same error.

Re: ZxList 6, P file to BASIC conversion app

As it's a 16 bit windows program it won't work on 64 bit windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 2003, 2008, 2012). If possible it might be worth compiling a 32bit windows version that would work on 64bit windows. To be honest these days I'd make the 32bit the default windows target with a special 16 bit version ...

Re: Transparent case for ZX80CORE

PokeMon,

Do you happen to have any of the transparent cases left ? It would be good to get a couple, one for my ZX80CORE and one for my other ZX80 clone board.

Cheers.

LOL :)

I did design a 32K addon RAM board for the Ace repro kit, would work on a genuine ace but would not fit inside the case.....

I'll upload the design files if anyone is interested.

Cheers.
