Re: Interlace?
I would have been surprised if no one else had tried this in 30 years.
Bodo's page is very interesting with gray scale, 320 by 256 pixel display and also his CPLD ULA replacements.

Re: Simple 8-16K RAM Mod Question
There is a related thread that might be worth reviewing http://www.sinclairzxworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=66 Personally, if you are using a DIL chip (rather than individual tiny little logic SOT23) then it doesn matter which 14/16pin DIL, so I would prefer to build something with a bit more flexibility...

Re: ULA revistited.
Andy, If you used the original modulator then a pair of 75-300 ohm dc blocking TV matching transformers wired back to back could provide galvanic isolation from the hot mains TV chassis. I dont think this woudl work with composite as the sync would be lost and need re-introducing, so a modification ...

Re: No pcb serial Numbers, so any Lists of provenance?
Hi Moggy, thanks for the diatribe ;) I think I know about the particular guitar amp you refer to with military connections. FYI, Blackstar Amps are a northamptom based company who seem to be doing very well. However, most of these guys do whats needed to keep small companies up and running, like gat...
