Re: ZXpand!

Everything seems to work fine, it is just the screen offset when I load anything through the ZXpand. If I just write a short program, with the ZXpand operating, everything is okay.

Re: ZXpand!

By the way, the ghosting in image 3 I think is to do with the camera shutter speed, I think the screen was jumping to Image 4 when I snapped it. Having said that the 'true' image is never on the screen for long enough for me to verify that!

Re: ZXpand!

Thanks for all of your responses and helpful suggestions: very much appreciated! Okay, I have had chance to take some pictures and do the tests that you have all recommended. So, when the ZX81 starts up, everything seems fine. I get the K in the bottom left, and ZXPAND 2.3 in the top left. (see imag...

ZXpand!

Mine arrived today, and what a nice bit of kit... thanks Sir Morris and RWAP! I now have the dilemma of whether I should now take apart the nice original Memotech 16k ram pack to fit the ZXpand in.... tough dilemma! Anyway, I've copied a few .p files to an SD card, including the ZXpand Commander, ju...

Re: Screen Display

Thanks for that Mark... no I haven't readjusted the trimmers after the Zeddy has warmed, so I will have a look at that. I need to change the caps in all my PSU's (a Christmas task), so the ZX81 supply is on the list for that little change!

Cheers,

Simon

Screen Display

Quick query on the display of the Zeddy when working with the composite mod. I carefully adjusted the trimmers until I got the optimum display, but... ... I notice that there are some very faint vertical columns in the display after about 30 seconds or so, and that if I have my recently acquired Mem...
