I've heard a lot about the wobbling issue with the ZX81. how bad was it? did it really wipe out everything?
It was very frustrating, I made a little metal bracket that clamped the Sinclair Rampack to the main case - using the original screw holes. Helped a lot.... :D

But the set would be in range of 30-35GBP + P&P. So, I've not decided yet.
I'd be interested in a set of boards :-)

Re: Jupiter ACE (again)

Wow,

That looks really good well done :)

I always wanted a Jupiter Ace, certainly be up for a kit or PCB purchase if you do another run of them.

Hello from Leicestershire

Hi, Recently joined the forum, I built my first ZX81 from a kit as a 15 year old, taught myself BASIC and ended up knowing more than my Computer studies teacher! It got used for a few years until I started using Commodore PETs at college, and eventually it was given away. Fond memories though ...

Re: Removing a ULA

Is the bruised connection visible with the ULA in place?

I have an early Rev 3 board with the older ULA in it. Happy to take pics if you need them...

Cheers
