Re: ZXpand+ on the way

Quality cases. They get the SirMorris official seal of approval ! No the big kicker is the audio. I have attempted to run the SDemo. It does run but the sounds are a complete mess. Sounds more like a rifle being shot. This happens on both computers. Same sounds like it is trying to play something. ...

Re: ZXpand+ on the way

Quality cases. They get the SirMorris official seal of approval ! Yes they do look nice but I have a 3d printer and was hoping to do the print myself. Just not done any CAD stuff. The ZXpand+ arrived yesterday. I have been having some weird issues with it. I have 2 ZX's. on a TS1000 not modded in a...

Re: ZXpand+ on the way

The ZXPand+ should be here any day so I'm throwing it out there to see if anyone has 3d printer files for it.

Re: Hello from Colorado USA

Hi craftsman1234, Welcome from another American in Pennsylvania! :) I wonder if OTLA would work on some hardware I have. I used an Arduino Due with a TFT interface to read in from an SD card and convert the p file to 3.3V pulses which are the perfect amplitude for the ZX81. Once I got the timing do...

So far it seems there are no new AY boards for sale.

I was hoping someone had the files for a 3d case.

ZXpand+ on the way

Yahoo I was able to order the ZXPand+ today. Still looking for the AV attachemnt. I am looking for a case for it and have seen the Memotech conversion.

I'll have access to a 3d printer soon and would like to print up a case. Are there any files available that anyone might share.

Re: New find zx81 and updates

Indeed and the wonderful digital scaling  I usually do correctly refer to modern CCFL/LED TVs as LCDs. For a quiet life I stopped bothering as people seem these days to prefer calling CCFL backlit screens LCDs and LED backlit screens simply as LEDs to differentiate between them. Ya, I have tes...

Re: New find zx81 and updates

Thanks for the details. Did you have issues with the output on your TV/s with the documented design? I was concerned that POTs were included with other solutions perhaps as a necessity and Alastairs (JoulesperCoulomb) documented design would not always provide a suitable output on some TVs. I am ou...
