Here you go this may do the trick - take the CV from the ZX81 and connect via Scart to this:

then a HDMI to DVI lead to your monitor.

Out of curiosity where did you source the grey foam strips for the feet from ?
They look just like the originals and a friend has been asking about them.

I wonder could you be trying to display a PAL-N (Argentinian) signal on a PAL-I (UK) TV set ?
