Re: CB2 micro KIT - Build your own BASIC color microcomputer within 30 minutes.

And here is my second CB2 game release: just as I did with H-Tron, I have rewritten my cross-platform z88dk C game Mastermind RK in BASIC for the CB2 micro.

The game is available from the CB2 programs page and the Mastermind RK Sourceforge repository.

Re: CB2 micro KIT - Build your own BASIC color microcomputer within 30 minutes.

I have now released my first CB2 game: it is a port of my game H-Tron that I released two years ago for the ZX81 and since then for many more Z80-based systems. Now I have entirely rewritten it in BASIC. The CB2 version provides only one-player mode (which is the most important mode anyway), I had t...

Re: CB2 micro KIT - Build your own BASIC color microcomputer within 30 minutes.

Last weekend I built my CB2 micro, and it worked on the first attempt! I decided to document my work, so here is my *first ever* Youtube video: https://youtu.be/1oPnbR4Rc40 Two things that you should know before you build yours: 1. Apply *a lot* of solder to the upper side Mini-USB pads and its body...

New ZX80 and ZX81 Game: Mastermind RK

Here is another little cross-platform game I have created using the z88dk C compiler: Mastermind is a game I enjoyed playing as a kid. It has probably been done already several times for the ZX81, but here is my cross-platform version for various Z80-based computers, including the ZX81 and the ZX80....

Then i played with RobertK's H-Tron , which has reasonable speed It's unbelievable that you made an 1K version of my game - fantastic job, thanks! I immediately recognized my computer player's AI, that's my baby! ;) but i did not like its 2 buttons control (left/right). The reason is that I ...

Re: The development of MAX VERSTAPPEN FORMULA ONE PITSTOP SIMULATOR

I was driving on the highway (which by the way I do every day for my job) as I passed a broken truck tyre. I was at the Austrian Grand Prix this year and even saw Max' final move on Leclerc (I was at the right spot at the right time), but I did NOT get the idea to make such a game! :D Great driver,...

Re: Plot function in z88dk

Thanks, but I think that you (or someone else) fixed the crash problem soon after my last post from March 2018. Here are two WIP ZX80 versions of my game: a fresh compile using the current htron.c source, and a version that I compiled in July 2018, both flickering heavily. The older version looks a ...

Re: ZX81 Berzerk Game

Thanks Bukster for this wonderful Christmas present! I haven't tried it on the real hardware yet, but here are my thoughts based on an emulator test: - The control's are good for me, very intuitive for someone like me who has played the game mainly on the Atari VCS. - Otto's timing seems to be fine ...
