Micro Sistemas Go program
Hello to all of you,
how to I manage to start the program "Go" from https://zx81.eu5.org/msprog.htm ?
It says in the txt file, that it autostarts but I did not manage to get it to run
And also is there some sort of AI in this program?

Re: ZX81 1k resource management game
Hi,
there is a Game for the 1k ZX81 in the Book 34 Amazing Games for the 1k ZX81 by Alastair Gourlay.
Maybe you meant this one. If you need a scan of this program (because I could not find a pdf online) then I can send you the german version of this program

Re: Draughts in 1k in basic on the zx80
I once typed in the program and played against it. Sadly the program is somewhat Stupid and often makes completely insane moves like placing his king somewhere out of the board and then you can't beat it, because the king is still there

Re: What ZX81 Basic compilers there are out there?
Hello, for your first question: There is MCODER II and MCODER (former ZXGT) and I found ZX-Compiler by Silversoft but never got it to work even after trying to understand the BASIC Listing... Then there is Autocoder and BASIC-I-Compiler, which i try to find but never found it (written in BASIC) and ...

Re: New ZX81 Games
Hey salvacam,
thanks for telling me (I feel somewhat a little bit proud, that someone plays my game), also have fun playing the new one.
I also tried BMX-Trial and I have to admit, that your games actually play better than mine at the moment and this challenges me
Have fun playing

Re: New ZX81 Games
Thank you all for your useful critique (it helps me a lot to improve my next games :) ) So in the mean time, have fun with this MCODED Missile-Command Clone called "SPACE-BASE" Everything you need to know, will be told in the game :) but ... here are some useful hints: 1. even if your laser is nearl...

Re: Using MCoder2 in EightyOne
Aside from the original MCODER I, I'm also aware of another compiler for the ZX81. It was made by Silversoft but I don't have any direct experience of it so don't know how it compares. It's available online but sadly no instructions sheet for it: http://www.zx81stuff.org.uk/zx81/tape/ZXCompiler I s...

Re: Pascal for ZX81
Did this evolve into a full Go program? Was it for the Zeddy? Hello Vorticon, sadly no... I got it somewhat working under Turbo Pascal (together with a stupid AI). So the Go program itself is more of a Goban for two players, I still have the Source :) and also I still trying to build up a working G...

Re: Pascal for ZX81
Hey Moggy, so today it did some testing and Partial Pascal needs for the Iterative Method for calculating 40 fibonacci numbers about 10 Seconds (together with printing them ... even the numbers exceed 16 bit but this is not the problem), but with the recursive Method you get the following problem: A...
