Re: While we are releasing games...
I've played Tron Trails before and it's a nice game for a quick blast now and again. Lightsout I haven't seen before but it looks well made and I'm going to play it on my GP2X later tonight :) You've forgotten a couple: Mastermind for the ZX80 which I've played several times (it's nice to find ZX80 ...

80 file format, 81 file format
Hi
Can somebody explain the apparently minor differences between 80 and O files and 81 and P files.
I can't find this information anywhere and it definitely needs writing up somewhere.
Regards,
Thunor

Re: How much memory do you have?
I've found an awesome document to compliment this thread (I'm currently researching RAM too). http://nocash.emubase.de/zxdocs.htm#specsmemorymirrorsandexpansions It explains that RAMTOP will never be set higher than 32768, so if you have for example 32K then you must POKE RAMTOP to 49152, type NEW s...

Re: Information on NMI's, INT's and timings...
So then since the ROM is creating the TV picture and it must create 20% more on a 60Hz machine, does this mean that 60Hz machines ran slower overall? Was BASIC even slower? :? I found an awesome document here -> http://nocash.emubase.de/zxdocs.htm#displayoutput It's from the nocash emulator (I've n...

Re: New Game PipePanic Released
This game is now playing at the National Museum of Computing (http://www.tnmoc.org) at Bletchley Park, which is open twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays. See attached images :P Included on the tape I built for the exhibit is QFrogger, DOMIN8TR1S, Chopper Drop 3000 and QRobot, so should you visi...

Re: New Game PipePanic Released
Thanks for the updated image. I found printing it at around 55% of the images size is just about right for a typical cassette box (see photo of my '81 at home). Regards, Shaun. Cool :) Actually now I've seen the front without the side in view it looks very monochromatic, so I've added coloured bars...

Re: New Game PipePanic Released
Looks great - the only thing that I would add is the year of release as this is hopefully going to be loaded on the Museum's ZX81. I want people to think... "2010!!!! WTF!" or something similar ;-) Regards, Shaun. Updated. Fake company/address, blurb also added; and hopefully it'll fit :D Which mus...

Re: New Game PipePanic Released
Any cover art done yet :-) Regards, Shaun. I'm trying to create a themed template that I can resuse for future games and I have this for now. I'll update this post as I work on the image but if you need something right now then this should suffice :) [EDIT] That should be it now. AngliaSoft and the...
