Have you checked compatibility with the NOVA program?

Re: New Sinclair BBS online

I'm sure the SysOp could be convinced to add a ZX81 section - or we could just commandeer the 'ZX' section ;)

New Sinclair BBS online

New BBS at http://telnetbbsguide.com/bbs/sinclair-retro-bbs/

The page has a built-in terminal emulator to connect using your browser, but for kicks I tried connecting with ZX-TERM*80 in EightyOne and it works! (though I couldn't get the graphics mode to ASCII only)

Re: More ZXpands Available Now

I understand people's frustration. I think you'd sell a load of those T's if you put them up there ;) ... If I keep up with the current release rate it will only be 4-8 weeks before everyone gets their board, and I won't have the massive hit. THoughts? :? Ever thought of doing it like Sinclair did ...

Re: sz81 (gnu/linux) not supporting hires?

After some more futzing around, I'm happy to report I've managed to get it working on OS X!

Re: sz81 (gnu/linux) not supporting hires?

I've taken a stab at getting this to compile for OS X - I've mostly gotten it working (all the files compile), but running into issues at the linking stage (over 200 'duplicate symbols' are reported). Seems the way the headers are structured and included might be at fault :|

Re: My new emulator

I have to say I'm impressed - runs most things without problems. And being a Mac user I was pleasantly surprised to see a OS X-based emulator. :D

One thing that doesn't work quite right currently is hires stuff - the video timing seems to be off and the screen 'loops'.

Re: ZX Basic precompiler

Could you not 'add on' the assembly in your 0 REM line as you're processing it, then put in the USR call with the appropriate address for that block of code? Example: First assembly code encounter: generates 10 bytes of code, insert call USR 16514; Second assembly code encounter: generates 24 bytes ...

Re: Westridge 2050/Timex Sinclair 2050 Modem

My dad collected a few 'bare bones' ones (without casing), and I recall my brother buying one from a fellow TS2068 user, which he had modified to include various lights in the front panel (to add the usual lights visible on most later external modems).
