I have tried the programs on real hardware. Both produce the image centred on the screen but with corruption (like it was in the previous version). There are no colours displayed.

Re: Chroma 81 - SCART and Colour interface for the ZX81

the R register does not stay the same for long enough so the picture gets garbled. I see corruption in the SCART picture and the RF picture on real hardware. The nasty background colors are put in by purpose I don't see any colours on the real hardware, and the picture is centred (in JSZeddy it is ...

Re: Chroma 81 - SCART and Colour interface for the ZX81

I used his code from a PT3 player to handle and display the ZX Spectrum .SCR files directly. Of course that the program is for use with ZXPand. Great stuff!! :D There is one small bug. Upon returning to the menu the screen colours are still visible. They need to be disabled otherwise it is very dif...

Re: Chroma 81 - SCART and Colour interface for the ZX81

the issue was fixed and the corrected files are attached in previous post. Both files now work on real hardware. It is amazing to see such detailed, colourful graphics being displayed on a ZX81! They actually look better on my TV than in the screenshots since there is not such a large difference be...

Re: Chroma 81 - SCART and Colour interface for the ZX81

Now the colorized Missile Command is working in JSZeddy :P I would like to know if it works alright in a real ZX81 with Chroma interface. Yes, it works well on the real hardware and looks really good. is there a way to use colors in WRX graphics mode ? 8-) Not with the typical WRX driver, which exe...

Re: Chroma 81 - SCART and Colour interface for the ZX81

I've had an enquiry about whether the Chroma interface will work with the Brazilian TK-85 clone. I don't own one of these and know very little about it. Does any one know how compatible this was with the ZX81? Does it use the same expansion bus signal layout?

Re: AZMIC ROM

Should anyone wish to experiment with the ASZMIC ROM on a real ZX81, then it can be run from the ROM cartridge facility of the Chroma interface . Program the ASZMIC ROM into a ZXC4 ROM cartridge and then plug it into the Chroma interface. The ROM cartridge completely overrides the ZX81's internal RO...
