Re: Missing in action

So I assume a lot of packages lies in warehouses somewhere, and the postal system has difficulty to catch up. Yes, it’s a sad and irritating situatio...

Re: TasWord as editor for ToddyForth

I much appreciate your work.

Your editor is a great start, and also easier than swapping between TasWord and ToddyForth.

Re: TasWord as editor for ToddyForth

Wow. Thank you. What a pleasant surprice. Current version of software has either ZXpand OR UDG. If you disable ZXpand while copying the ROM chars and enable ZXpand again afterwards, then we can enjoy both ZXpand AND UDG. This links to code to reenable ZXpand. I haven’t found the command to disable Z...

Re: Using a microcontroller for clock doubler?

Don’t make the mistake to compare the speed of microcontrollers and logic/cpld. Microcontrollers are like a smart man that can do many different things. However logic/cpld is like a whole factory. The factory is not that versatile, many people work in there in parallel each person instantly availabl...

Re: ZX81 rebuild

I have looked at the source for ToddyForth. When the code uses UDG, the source only contains missing characters. The rest of the characters are copied to the area $3000 from the ROM. The area of the char set is not present in the ZXpand ROM, because the ULA will fetch the chars from the internal ROM...

Keyboard routine in Toddy Forth 1.3 is new.

I think EightyOne is currently maintained by Fruitcake. Talk with him.
