Re: ZXpand with Hires games
Found I can't run the hires stuff on my 1500, but perhaps I'm just missing some steps. Will look into it later.

Re: ZX-MMC2 ("the ZXPand") Update log
Got it in today and have successfully tested it on my T/S 1500. It does all I hoped it would do, and I'm using an old T/S 2040 printer as a bus expansion. Outstanding product!

Re: ZXpand with Hires games
Got in my ZXspand today and will be trying it on my T/S 1500. Think I'll plug in the printer to use it as a bus expansion.

Re: ZX-MMC2 ("the ZXPand") Update log
It is good that the ZXpand works with the TS/1500 - Maybe we need to offer a bus expander of some sort to make enough space at the back of the TS/1500 to allow the cassette and RF leads to be in the sockets? That's great news. Too bad about the leads, but yeah - an expander might do the trick. Late...

Re: ZX-MMC2 ("the ZXPand") Update log
Hmmm, wonder if I'll experience similar challenges with the T/S 1500, since it has internal 16K?sirmorris wrote:Hmm, having an m1not also means internal RAM expansion yes?
If so ... well we can either nobble the GAL or make sure your expansion disables itself when ramcs is asserted.

Re: ZX-MMC2 ("the ZXPand") Update log
I have one of these en route. If someone gets an opportunity to test it out on a T/S 1500 before it gets here, please let me know.

This looks interesting. Looks like one of the computers has a monitor mod.

Re: ZX-MMC2 ("the ZXPand") Update log
be interested to see how much this goes for, i paid quite alot for mine.... it was the full educational pack in a brief case plus shipping from the us. and then customs wanted a few quid too Looks like the T/S 1500 went for $85; seems a little steep to me. Picked my own up complete with a briefcase...

Re: LARKEN UTILS
Unfortunately, my old LarKen FDD no longer functions, so I've not way of testing it with my T/S 1500.
