Re: ZX81 hi-res Graphic Contest?

PC.
You modify the image with "PaintShop Pro" (I use version 6), then you use Xtender (ZX81 DOS emulator) to recreate the file .P.
Everything is written in the link (see below), in my previous message.

Re: Running L/M in the high memory area (48-64KB)

I used to run HOT-Z in the 32-48K, it required installing the "M1 NOT" mod...
Hello Greg.
I know the "M1 NOT" mod, allows the BASIC and the machine code to run up to 32k.
I would like to know if there a similar mod for the area between 32 and 64K to run machine code.

Running L/M in the high memory area (48-64KB)

Hello.
A seemingly simple question... :?
There is a way to run L/M in the upper part of memory (C000/FFFF)?

Thanks, Mic.

Re: ZX81 hi-res Graphic Contest?

So - would it be possible to code a similar slideshow with the ZX81 pictures (without the necessity of using the commander)?
Hello.
With this you can convert images from .BMP to executable .P for ZX81.
It can help in some way?

Re: Real Time Clock for ZX81

Speaking of watches, this maybe you'll find it interesting...
Even if (maybe) "off-topic". :)

Re: Very quiet ZX81 MIC.. What's... Uh the deal?

If it can help, in the instructions of Z-XLR8 (program similar to Q-Save; FasLoadSave; etc.) it is written: "For more reliable loads with both Z-XLR8 and Sinclair LOAD routine, replace the 0.01 ufd (10nF) capacitor at location C10 (near the EAR jack) with a 0.1 ufd (100nF) ceramic disk capacitor." E...

Re: Very quiet ZX81 MIC.. What's... Uh the deal?

A bigger capacitor and smaller resistor would simply increase the output voltage even more! Since a magazine suggests it, seems that someone has already tried it and it *should* be safe for the Zeddy! But as the 50mV seems to be enough for a good quality playback or recording of the sound produced,...

Re: Very quiet ZX81 MIC.. What's... Uh the deal?

Simple and interesting modify. ;)
An old electronic magazine suggested to bring C12 from 47pF to 560pF and R29 from 1Mohm to 82Kohm.
Can anything be done to increase the sensitivity of the EAR jack? :?:

Thanks, Mic.
