Re: HUNCHBACK UDG.

I'll assume you're using Eighty One? C/10 indicates Zxpand not initiated even though you say it is. I long since gave up on Eighty One and it's various foibles and I'm not able to say why your copy is behaving as such, and I use SZ-81 instead as it doesn't take a muscle machine to run it and just e...

Re: HUNCHBACK UDG.

Can't get this to work at all. ZXpand is enabled, CHR$128 set, WRX off, all three files in the folder, but if I load HREM.P and run it I get a C/10 error.

Re: 3D Star Raid - Star Wars clone

Good heavens. A recognisable Atari Star Wars on the ZX81, what a ridiculous, amazing feat :D Since you asked for suggestions, it'd be nice to have a readout of how many TIEs/towers you have to shoot to finish a level, and maybe some sort of slightly clearer indication of when you've been hit (a quic...

In old versions of EO it was CHR$16, see in EO 1.1:

lr-81 doesn't even have a setting for that 🙁

Re: UDG chars for ZX-Nibbler

Love it! Did you speed it up too, or am I imagining it? You are imaginning it, the only changes I made to the program were on lines 6070 and 9651, changing the characters [-], [>>] and [<<] for [:] and [**] respectively. Oh, I've done it again - I still had EightyOne on 2x speed from messing around...

Re: Another translation - Mad Jack

You have one word left in French. In line 950 you should change "PAR" to "BY" Cheers, zip now updated. There's something very weird about this game that I just noticed. You are the £ character, and in this pic you're standing at the top of a ladder. mjackladder.jpg But bizarrely, you can't go down ...

Weirdly it looks totally different on a Raspberry Pi.
