Re: Not exactly ZX related, but related :)

Thanks. I could swear I saw a U.S. address in one or more ads in the Sync magazine (an American publication). Memotech add-ons are known for their quality. One day I'll have to get my hands on a Memotech keyboard and HRG interface. I was reading a little bit more about these computers this morning, ...

Re: Web-Browser for ZX81: ZeddyFox V1.0

Back in 2007 I posted in the World of Spectrum forums "complaining" that there was no Ethernet interface for the Spectrum, and Winston and others shared their ideas and suggestions. I remember that at the time I used Siggi's webserver as an example of how the ZX81 community was way ahead of the game...

Re: Not exactly ZX related, but related :)

Hahaha, good one. :) So they took UK computer to make the movie look more... mysterious & exotic? ;) Cool info anyway, heh. ;) I thought Memotech was an American company? Anyway, the only part of that movie that got stuck in my head (if we're talking about the same movie) was when they were trying ...

Re: Westridge 2050/Timex Sinclair 2050 Modem

The folks at the TS2068 Yahoo group have mentioned that modem a few times. I've seen it mentioned many times in American TS newsletters and magazines (projects, schematics, modifications, etc.). Never had a chance to try mine and I was told I wouldn't be able to connect it to anything. Same with the...

Re: What is this interface?

A YouTube video clip would be nice. I've been waiting to see it in action for the last 6 years... A long time ago I offered 500USD* to someone if they were willing to sell it to me. They said "no thanks". *That was a long time ago. If I had that kind of money now I wouldn't spend it on my retro inte...

Re: Erm... another new program for ZX81 + ZXpand + AY :)

Keep them coming. :)

With a little bit of help from coders, your music could be added to the no-limits demo, and others. You can trick people into thinking they're watching a Spectrum demo.

Re: Various ZX81 Items on SellMyRetro.com

If I had enough money to buy the items that haven't been studied yet I would purchase all of them and have them sent to my good friend at hardware.speccy.org. He's been photographing, creating schematics and studying items carefully for me for several years now, and posting his findings online so ev...
