Here are two more games I've typed up for the 16K ZX81 from Your Computer magazine: Space Invaders (Chris Mortimer, Your Computer, Jul 1983).zip Dangerman (Mark Carne, Your Computer, Jul 1983).zip Space Invaders is written in machine code and quite good but seems near impossible to destroy a wave of...

Re: Block save / load
so if you feel like going back in time and typing in the HEX code (oh those were the days!) you're very welcome to. I had typed up this program a few years ago for submission to the Type Fantastic website but found the program didn't work when I tested it. The hex byte listing on the second page wa...

Re: Getting started - need toolkit!
I am trying to use the .b81 drag and drop method to import an ASCII file in EightyOne and tokenize it; it works indeed, but when I drag and drop it the emulator automatically resets its mode to ZX81 whereas I want to import the file in ZX80 mode. Re: New release of EightyOne available

I've still not been able to reproduce this. What hardware settings do you have? You could try deleting the e...

Re: New release of EightyOne available
Just grabbed latest release V1.22, but noticed that each time I click on the keyboard (press F1 to invoke it) the image (and window) for it gets smaller, and then there's no obvious way to get it back to the normal size? if you keep clicking it ends up as a tiny square just big enough for the close...

Re: ZX81 ROMs 3 types?
I have asked the seller. Hopefully they will get back to me. Was thinking to do the same but don't want to flood them with such queries so will will wait to hear if they respond to you. Looks like they are Sinclair fans? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZX80-ROM-ADAPTER-Module-with-4-ROM-images-does-not-...
