Re: New game - BiggOil

I must control myself and play less often. I got stuff to do.

Very good game.

Re: ZXpand-Commander

Hi, Just download zxpand commander. It works well with my zxpand+. However, if the printer is attached, it will start printing black lines as soon as the program is loaded and won't stop. (CMDR.P was loaded without the X option). While the printer is burning paper like crazy, the program is neverthe...

Re: ZX Printer Belt

Man, that is great to see! And I thought I had your only stylus. Please send a close-up of how you attached them to the posts. I looked in my junk box and I found the remains of my second printer belt. It was just too tempting... As I said, I just melt the top of the spigot to hold the stylus in pl...

Re: ZX Printer Belt

I searched for hours to find the .016" music wire that came in and it is noticeably thicker than the wire used on the stylus. Not one to leave well enough alone, I spent more time today and found the correct 0.010" wire which is on order. As soon as it comes in and get a couple of prototypes dimens...

Re: ZX Printer Belt

Not sure if those involved are aware but I'll mention it anyway. DO NOT clean the rubber platen roller as it's conductive and forms part of the electrical circuit, cleaning it usually means faint or no print at all. Good point. I knew but I had forgotten. I was about to clean it with IPA as it has ...

Re: ZX Printer Belt

Here are some pictures: The TPU belt just after printing and before post "cleaning" https://image.ibb.co/k0iCzH/IMG_20180424_222747.jpg The belt on the printer after its first dry run. Notice how the belt got dirty because of the dirty sprockets. You can also see the small posts, cleaned the best I ...

Re: ZX Printer Belt

Update: I put the TPU belt into one of my zx-printer (no stylus). The fit seems ok, the belt teeth fit perfectly into the sprocket slots. When installed with the top cover open, the belt seems loose, but I remember it was the same with the original belt as the sprockets ends up in their final positi...

Re: ZX Printer Belt

Have you checked the fit of the PLA version on your printer? Hopefully there are no issues there with it being either too loose or too tight. I was wondering if you could do a test "print" without the styli on it to see how it will function during actual use. My 0.2 nozzles should arrive today and ...
