Re: AYe AYe...
Yeah thats th intention Siggi, hence why i am working on Soundtracker for ZX81, to allow thw creation of STC files, all without the aid of a PC :D i initially moved from STC to PT3 since as there are tools on pc for pt3 files but very few for STC. STC files are smaller and the player is quicker per ...

Re: SoundTracker for ZX81 ?
Hi Siggi,
It is neither at this stage, on the speccy version channel on/off only had an effect whilst playing, howeveri guess i could add say SHIFT + A , B, C to work at any time.

Re: O.T.L.A. (high speed loader) works for me too !
Me too, i did play with it a little but since i have ZXpand the motivation for building an audio conditioner wasn't really there for me, mostly because my analog design skills are pretty poor

Re: Soundboard behind ZXPAND problem
Well from the schematic it seems like he is fully decoding but the absence of A0 in this gal code is interesting (ah i see now from the schematic that A0 is connected to A8 on the ay chip, so the result is the same as my gal code, on my ay chip a8 = +5v and /a9 =0v) , but i'm guessing that it it of ...

Re: Soundboard behind ZXPAND problem
Well i am truly confused, my soundboard is a home made affair using a AY-3-8912 took from a non-working spectrum with a single-16v8 gal for clock division and io decoding, the data bus is connected at the edge-connector (there are plated holes ideal for wires next to the edge-connector) the address ...

Re: Soundboard behind ZXPAND problem
My german is non-exsistant and Google does a poor job sometimes however here on the 16th post down is a reference to /cs (ram or rom is unclear to me) but i don't know why a sound card that is io-mapped would need to be bothered with /cs at all, now i suspect that maybe for some reason this is refer...

Re: Soundboard behind ZXPAND problem
When using it whith the memopak do you use the BUSexanper at the same time? or just with ZXpand? reason i ask is are you sure that the bus expander has all the connections and no dry joints? it is most odd... Andy Sorry, it's a misunderstanding. With busexpander I meant that litte piece of pcb that...
