The membrane layout on the Minitel keyboard is SLIGHTLY different than the ZX81 membrane.

Trying both versions in the JSZeddy emulator, the program only works on the new Lambda ROM (The one that says READY). Yes, you have to save in between. And saving is to the program’s own tape format. So the only way to use the program is to save to real tape, or the wave tape in the Eighty One emulator. No binary file format can be used. The only way to run a program is in this environment as well. No machine code ...

If your main problem is missing simple storage, now when ZXpand is unobtainable, you can buy a cheap ESP32, load plenty p-files into it. Search for “Wespi” in the forum for links. There are two different firmwares: One to emulate fast tape, and one with fast tape+VGA output. https://sinclairzxworld....
