Hmm, looking at the Loderunner screenshots at Mobygames I see that the original Apple II version had blue bricks, while the PC CGA Version had cyan bricks...
I prefer your blue brick version, but that's of course personal taste.

Re: New game idea
Last night I spent almost one hour playing the game on the emulator and still had not revealed half of the picture, so I had to save a snaphot... The bad thing is that you need a lot of time for this game - but on the other hand, this is unbelievable considering that it is a 1K game! I think that th...

Re: LODERUNNER on the ZX81
The great advantage of the "Chroma Program Enhacement Creator" is that each user can customize it according to his own preference without changing the original game. So there is no final version ;) Believe me, noone can make it better than you... The hole-closing effect looks so great! Thank you so...

Re: LODERUNNER on the ZX81
Kelly, would you like to publish your Chroma .col and .chr file?
If it isn't finished yet, then it would certainly need a few beta testing volunteers (like me for example).

Re: LODERUNNER on the ZX81
Fantastic work! Having played the first level so many times in my life, everything was totally familiar here. :D It is a little simpler to play because the opponents are less aggressive. But this is just perfect for me, I used to play the CGA PC version recently, which for me is too difficult and to...

Re: Plot function in z88dk
My ambitious attempt to port the H-Tron game to the ZX80 has come to a halt... While the graphics.h plot() function works great on the ZX80 (I can already see the correctly displayed game screen), its point() function does not - it makes the program crash. The z88dk wiki says "this function might no...

Re: Plot function in z88dk
Ok, now I have found out that the graphics.h functions plot(), unplot() and point() work with the ZX81 target and do exactly the same. Sorry that I didn't notice that earlier, but that's why I asked here. We definitely need more ZX81 z88dk developers! :) However, a quick test shows that Andy'...

Re: Ball Blaster
The screenshot looks great! I haven't tried running the game on my hardware yet, but I can't get it to work in the EightyOne emulator (Version 1.8) :-( When I enable 16K and nothing else, the game crashes after the intro (you briefly see "LEVEL 01" before it crashes). When I enable RAM in 8k-16k, I ...
Re: H-Tron
I worked on the character choices for this type of plotting. Ill find and post what I have so far. A quick test with the "Chroma Program Enhancement Creator" reveals the secret behind Andy's plot function: HTron_Chroma_Colour_Test.jpg @Andy: very clever! I never thought that it would work that way....
