What price a boxed Memotech keyboard

What’s the going rate for a boxed & working Memotech keyboard? I’ve got one to sell, but no idea of its value

I am due to be selling mine soon, so… I’d like to retire - how’s £1,000,000 sound to you? 8-)

(And those tiny flat-screen TVs…)

8 bit (and QL) books for sale

I’ve put 10 books on eBay - https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/bob-tmh/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= - as part of having a clear out. They’re mostly Spectrum related. This is part of a larger sale I’m having, which will include hardware (boxed toastrack, fuller ZX81 keyboard) software (Ultimate PTG tap...

Re: ZX81 faster than the TS1000?

This speed difference was pointed out to me very early in my ZX81 game dev, and so in most (if not all - I forget) of my games there’s a delay applied when 50hz is detected so both versions should run at roughly the same speed 8-)

I don’t remember doing anything particularly different with OLG compared to any other of my ZX81 games

I’m sure there’s a way to embed tweets into a thread, but until I work it out here’s a video of the conversion...

Very true - it’s ruined a few good cups of tea when I’ve been concentrating on coding it instead of pouring the kettle

Re: Was there ever a good Centipede for the ZX81?

I did start work on a version, but Melkhior’s Mansion, and trying to make it a perfect clone, got in the way. I may well resurrect it in the future though.

Personally I doubt I’d design such a game, but if Ahmed did do a follow-up I would definitely look into whether it could be converted to the Zeddy.

Re: STEPS - New 16K ZX81 Game

Since converting this I do wonder now about making a similar ‘open world’ adventure game for the Zeddy. Not limited to steps this time, but in a similar style (flick-screen or scrolling) with more adventure/quest elements - something like Zelda I believe (although I’ve never actually played that!)
