Re: Timex Sinclair 2068 measurements (length x width)?
YanKeber, I used the metric side of a metal ruler to measure the TS2068 for you. The ruler also had its standard measurement system on its another side. I could turn around the ruler to read the standard measurement system. For curious people out there, 37.5 cm is 14 25/32 inches ; 19 cm is 7 1/2 in...

Gammaray,
What is your PSU's voltage reading, from your multimeter's view? Maybe your PSU have a problem with blown diode(s). Does your PSU smell burnt? Do you have an oscilloscope?
I have my TS2068 and a PSU with its label. DVE Model No. DV-141A "FOR USE WITH COMPUTER".

Re: Timex Sinclair 2068 measurements (length x width)?
YanKleber, TS2068's measurements are 37.5 cm x 19 cm x 3 cm at the front side with a rubber foot and 4 cm at the back side with a rubber foot. I enjoy this computer. It still works since 1984! I am an American myself and I decided to measure it (the computer) in the metric system instead of Ye Olde ...

Re: Streaky video
Also, may I suggest that you try 1024MAK/Dessony strip board video buffer amplifier? http://www.sinclairzxworld.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2405&p=25270&hilit=video+buffer#p25270 Mark designed the circuit. I made it simpler by using a Veroboard/stripboard. Thank you very much in advance. Cheers, Dessony

Rich,
Please help these poor Americans (like me) figuring out the British pounds converting to US dollars for the TS2040's price tag.
